Just Arrived Today
GSlot Lexus's and Honda's
These Pic's and review is of the
Honda
At a glance paint and tampo and
very good ,crisp lines with no bleeding ,would rate it as high
as Scalextric if not a bit better
body is flexible but does not
appear easily broken , the rear spoiler seams to be fixed and
might to handle multiple roll-overs ect , time will tell that
tale

The real treat is when you flip the
car over to reveal a underbelly ,that at first glance thought might
he a transformer or terminator :) , more screws and adjustments than
the real car has ;)
but im assured that they all serve a
purpose , and they are not there to just bring up the tested weight
to .110kg .

After the initial
shock and awe wear off , I did notice that the was almost perfect
gear mesh between the gears and absolutely no axel play , I suspect
this car will be very very completive quite and smooth right out of
the box .

My only complaint
as I look over the car is the tire size is too big , this is not
really a big deal for me as will be fitting with urethanes , and I
would say a lower profile tire is just going to make a very good car
even better.......
I will be track
testing this car shortly ,and will continue the review with results
shortly......
After a quick trip
to the track last night car in hand , put a half dozen laps on the
car with the stock tire , OMG not good at all no love at all would
not hook up and just slipped around all the corners , even after
sanding still no noticalble improvment , this might be changed on a
plastic track , but on the wood ,it just no good with the stock
tires , they do also include 4 lower profile tires under the base of
the car changes the stance nicely but I opted to put the utheranes
on the rear right away and the low profile tires that were supplied
on the front , .....ahhhh thats better ,after about 10 laps with no
chassis adjustment was putting is solid laps of 9.440 and could
easily go fast in time , I think the cars a little under powered ,
was running at 10v and the car never really supprised me , but the
lap times tell the tale , you don't have to go faster to get good
time , this car is very controllable in the corners and would not be
supprised that with a bit more tuning of the 1/2 dozen screws in the
chassis and time could post a very low 9 sec lap .....FYI a very
fast lap on this track is a 8.600 ish but its tought to break the
9.000

with the lower profile tires on :)
Thanks for reading and will keep you
up to date on the progress of going faster
